Your journey to Binz

If you have never looked for Binz on a map, you should definitely do that. The Baltic Sea resort Binz is located in the southeast of the island of Rügen on the probably most beautiful bay of the island, the Prorer Wiek. The Seehotel BINZ-THERME Rügen is located in the north of Binz, in the middle of small dunes, just 50 meters from the beach.

Arriving by car

From Hamburg/Lübeck
Drive along the Autobahn A20, crossing the junction of Rostock-Kavelstorf all the way to the exit Stralsund. Follow the signs to Rügen over the Rügen bridge.

From Berlin
The route takes you via the Autobahn A 11 to the junction Uckermark. From here take the Autobahn A 20 towards Stralsund. Exit to Stralsund and follow the B96 to Rügen.

Arriving by train

No traffic jam and environmental friendly you travel to Binz by train. From all over Germany there are direct IC connections. The so called Haus-zu-Haus-Auskunft (house-to-house information) of Deutsche Bahn does not only include train schedules, but also knows when streetcars/trams and buses go and how long it takes you to walk from the train station to our hotel. We are happy to pick you up from the main station in Binz. It is free of charge. Just let us know a little in advance!

New in 2017!

During summer 2017 you can travel by CityNightLine from Zurich via Basel to the island of Rügen again. The final destination is the Baltic Sea resort of Binz. This is also comfortable for guests from southwest and central Germany with access possibilities for example in: Freiburg (Breisgau), Offenburg, Karlsruhe, Heidelberg, Mannheim, Frankfurt/Main, Leipzig, Halle/S., and Bitterfeld.

From many regions of Germany, long-distance buses travel safely and comfortably to the Baltic Sea resort of Binz.
ATTENTION: Some connections are not offered all year. The long-distance buses stop at the main train station in Binz. We will be happy to pick you up from there. It is free of charge. Just let us know a little in advance!

Arrival by plane

There is an airport with scheduled and charter flights in Rostock-Laage (about 120 km from Binz). Especially during summer season, you find an extended flight schedule. Among other destinations, the airports of Köln-Bonn, Stuttgart and Munich can be reached several times a week.

From the airport to Binz
Take line 127 to Rostock main station. From here take a train via Stralsund to Binz.
